Looking Beyond the East and West Coasts: Incentives in the Middle
Posted on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
While much attention has been given to the well-known production centers offering incentive packages along our Coasts, there are many attractive incentive packages offered by centrally located states that do not get the attention they deserve.
Join moderator Joe Chianese, Executive Vice President, EP Financial Solutions, as he leads a panel of film commissioners and producers in a discussion of the benefits of shooting in states including Alabama, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Live from the South By Southwest Film Festival, this webinar will also highlight incentives geared towards music production, sound recording and new media as well.
Thurs., March 14, 11:00am PST / 2:00pm EST
Confirmed panelists include:
Jeffry Allard, Producer, “Holy Ghost People”
Ward Emling/Nina Parikh, Mississippi Film Commission
Heather Page, Director, Texas Film Commission
Jill Simpson, Director, Oklahoma Film and Music Office
Todd Sklar, Director/Screenwriter/Producer, “Awful Nice”
(Additional panelist TBA)
