Connection Events is proud to launch the brand new international business convention for the visual effects (VFX) and animation sector. effects MTL will take place at the Mont-Royal Centre June 10 -11th and will offer sessions, an expo zone, a business lounge, a job fair and a number of special events.
‘‘The province of Quebec is a prime location to host an international convention such as effects MTL as it is recognized worldwide for its innovation and creativity in the visual effects (VFX) and animation industry. It’s crucial to consolidate the industry and to promote its international influence by bringing together key players: producers, visual effects and animation studios, training centers, international talent, foreign company delegations and industry service providers’’, says Marine Lelièvre, Event Director at Connection Events.
effects MTL will present four main components focused around business development; first, an expo zone will include a job fair as well as many animations. As the second part of the event, the conference will offer more than 30 sessions selected by an international advisory board. A business lounge will be dedicated to business development including the possibility to meet with international buyers thanks to an online Meeting Application, a tool allowing easy appointment management. The final component will emphasize on networking opportunities to strengthen professional relationships within special events.
