Join the campaign to stop run-away productions

Do you work on an ongoing L.A.-based television show or movie that might be interested in becoming a Film Works supporter? If so, please let us know by contacting us at info@filmworksla.com.
Right now, Film Works bumper stickers and/or large campaign wraps are on vehicles for "The Mentalist", "CSI: New York" and "Parenthood". Film Works has also supplied some productions with large campaign posters and other materials for possible use as set decorations and/or props. This is only the tip of the iceberg. But to do more, we need your help!
As the recent Emmy announcements showed, Los Angeles is home to two of the best television dramas ("Dexter" and "Madmen") and home to all but one of the best television comedies ("The Office", "Glee", "Parks and Recreation", "The Big Bang Theory" and "Modern Family"). These shows and the cast and crews working on them are an established part of the local community and we are glad to have them here in the Golden State.
It's time to remind our fellow Californians what a valuable and important addition any one show or film makes to a city, county or the state. California-based productions are much more than the finished product we see at the cinema or on television. They are major employers that provide jobs to people of diverse backgrounds and talents, from makeup artists to carpenters to actors to electricians to caterers to attorneys and even police and fireman. These are reel jobs with real impacts.
In these tough economic times, we cannot afford to keep allowing this industry to slip away. We all know and love the stories on the screen, but now its time to tell the real-life stories behind the screen. And who better to help tell these stories than the talented story-tellers themselves?
Let Film Works hear from you so we can discuss ways we can together show Los An Angeles and California how Film Works!
