May 26th: The Continuation Of The Production Incentives Webinar Series

There have been some vast global shifts in the production incentives landscapes over the past few months.  To help producers understand how recent shifts in policy and legislation might affect production incentives, 411 Publishing in conjunction with partners the Producers Guild of America and Entertainment Partners will present a webinar on May 26th.

Changes to Policy and Legislation in Central Europe, the Caribbean, and the US will look at some key territories including Germany, Serbia, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic as well as the United States.  As with previous installments in the 2010-2011 webinar series, Joseph Chianese, SVP of Taxes, Business Development and Production Planning at Entertainment Partners will lead a panel of tax specialists in a discussion exploring how to utilize recent changes to the advantage of television and film production.

Confirmed speakers to date include Stephen Weizenecker, Partner with the Atlanta Office of Lewis Brisbois, Bisgaard and Smith, who will be focusing on legislation in the Caribbean areas including Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Trinidad, Karolyn Radnai, Partner at OrienTax Consulting Ltd. who will be speaking about Hungary, and  Dr. Hans Joachim Radau, Rechtsanawalt, Fachenwalt fur Steuerrecht.  Radau, returning to the Production Incentives Webinar panel for the second time, will be focusing on the recent changes in German legislation as well as providing insight into Serbia and the Czech Republic.  Additional guests will be announced in the next few weeks.

The webinar will begin at 11:00am PST/2:00pm PST and will last one hour.  The webinar is free and open to anyone interested in attending.  Audience participants are welcomed to submit questions throughout the presentation to the moderator and panelists.
