Variety 411 is pleased to be partnering with NewFilmmakers LA to present the second annual "On Location: The Los Angeles Video Project." Initiated as a tool to highlight the talented filmmakers and diverse communities of Los Angeles the festival in 2013, NewFilmmakers LA has partnered with the City oF Los Angeles and LA Weekly to present a stereis of short films made by Los Angeles film professionals that highlight the diverse communities and locations in the area.
On Location: the Los Angeles Video Project will take place Saturday October 11th starting at 7:00pm at the AT&T Center. The event features a mixer, food, drinks, screenings of short films and an after-party.
The Los Angeles Video Project is a community outreach multimedia program that celebrates and enlists LA's remarkable pool of filmmakers. By engaging these creative members of the Los Angeles community to act and serve as Ambassadors of LA, NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA), along with the support of the City of Los Angeles and and LA Weekly are able to share what these artists call their LA; an insider perspective into this diverse, cosmopolitan city and its neighborhoods.
