Award-Winning Choreographer Presents ‘runaway!” – For A Two Night Limited Engagement

Under the direction of master dance instructor and award winning choreographer Erica Sobol , collidEdance will present “runaway!” - a one-of-a-kind all-male production comprised of today’s most popular film and television dance stars. This live event will take place for two evenings only, May 19-20th at Avalon, Hollywood, and is presented in cooperation by Break the Floor Productions, Dance Teacher Summit and the Capezio A.C.E. Awards.

Including in ‘runaways’ featured cast are: Teddy Tedholm (“So You Think You Can Dance” seasons 6 and 7), Keean Johnson (The Hub’s “Spooksville”), Jose “BoyBoi” Tena (“Step Up 3D”), Miguel Antonio (Nickelodeon’s “Victorious”), Brandon Dumlao (Ariana Grande “The Way” video), Jason Gorman (“Lord of the Dance”), Wyatt Rocker (Twenty One Pilots “Holding Onto You” video), Ryan Spencer (Axiom, Art.Uncensored), Derek Tabada, Alan Salazar, Austin Spacy, and apprentice Benjamin Ritter (Nickelodeon’s “Big Time Rush”). The storyline of “runaway!” follows a creature detaching from his dependable machine source and following his journey as he forges his own way and identity.

“We're very excited to have Erica as our 2013 Capezio A.C.E. Award Winner,” said Gil Stroming, Executive Producer, Break the Floor Productions. “Having just relocated Break The Floor Productions from New York City to Los Angeles we are thrilled to contribute to the cultivation of the Los Angeles dance scene by supporting local artists like Erica.”
