A panel of film commissioners and producers discuss state production incentives

411 Publishing and the PGA (Producers Guild of America) in partnership with Entertainment Partners continued their production incentives webinar series on Tuesday, April 13th, with a presentation that focused on Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts and Texas.
Moderated by Entertainment Partners Marco Cordova, Director of Marketing, Business Development and Production Planning and Richard Guay, Vice President of East Coast Marketing, the panel included Betsy Steinberg, Managing Director of the Illinois Film Office, Chris Stelly, Director, Louisiana Film, Nick Paleologos, Executive Director, Massachusetts Film Office, and Bob Hudgins, Director, Texas Film Commission. Joining each state film commissioner were Bryan Yaconelli, Vice President, Production Management & Finance of Overture Films, Bob Del Valle, Line Producer of “Knucklehead,” Louis Phillips, Executive Producer of “Shutter Island,” and Molly Bunner, Production Accountant of “Friday the 13th.”
The April webinar was the fifth in a series of production incentive webinars that have been focused on national incentives for states including Michigan, Tennessee, Utah, New York, California, Connecticut, Oklahoma, Georgia, and New Mexico. The series began with a webinar focused on the basics of production incentives: how to understand the differences and how to make full use of what incentives apply to producers.
