Julia Roberts, Maggie Gyllenhaalm Cicely Tyson To Be Honored at 40th Annual Gracie Awards

The Gracie Awards honor outstanding programming by, for and about women and deserving individuals involved in content creation in all distribution platforms, including radio, television, cable and web-based media.  Presented by the Alliance for Women In Media Foundation (AWMF) since 1975, the event has annually recognized women and men who are pioneers in their respective fields and lead by example. Marking the 40th Anniversary of the Gracies Awards, this year's event will be held Tuesday, May 19 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Honorees include Julia Roberts, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Olivia Munn, and Mae Whitman.  Additionally, AWMF will bestow Cicely Tyson with the Lifetime Achievement Award for her groundbreaking work.

 

The evening will showcase the strides women have made in media throughout the past 40 years and celebrate the bold new trails women are blazing for tomorrow.
