NAB is full of parties, but few are as special as an NAB birthday party. Cartoni, a world-leading supplier of camera support, celebrated their 80th anniversary during NAB 2015. To mark the special occasion, they offered a special “80 Years: 80+” Rebate Program.
For a limited time, Cartoni USA is offering rebates of $80 or more on a host of products including its most popular heads, tripods and pedestals.
Rebates include: • $80 for the Focus HD Systems for DSLR and 4k Cameras weighing from 0 to 26 lbs (0 to 12 kg) • $100 for Laser Systems, a compact, lightweight fluid head built of magnesium and aluminum alloy for portable digital cameras weighing 12 - 25 lbs (6 - 12 kg). • $160 for Gamma Systems, a fluid head designed for ENG configurations and small studio set-ups weighing 16 - 35 lbs (8 - 16 kg). • $240 for the Delta designed for EFP and use with a small prompter. • $375 to $ 2,625 on pedestals from the P20 to the P90. In addition to the massive rebate, Cartoni also presented their latest products and offerings. They have expanded the pan-and-tilt head line with their largest capacity product ever. Magnum. The Magnum offers a payload capacity of 25 – 95 kg (55 – 210 lbs.) combined with reliable operation, a fluid feel (with no transition in tilting) and an unprecedented 5-year warranty. It’s an ideal choice for studio and outside broadcast cameras, including those with long lens configurations or bulky accessories.
Responding to the need for a rugged and reliable fluid head to support today’s wide variety of ENG cameras, Cartoni introduced Tracker at NAB 2015. Capable of supporting cameras from 3 kg (4.4 lbs.) to 20 kg (44 lbs.), TRACKER is an ideal fluid head for newsgathering and other outdoor shoots.
Tracker offers a sleek, compact design, yet is accessorized with a variety of top end features. They include Cartoni’s patented “wing” continuously adjustable counterbalance system, which delivers perfect performance throughout the +/- 90 tilt range, as well as the company’s patented labyrinth system for smooth, precise pan and tilt movement. Ergonomically designed knobs and levers make the head easy to use. Although weighing just 4 kg (8.8 lbs.), the head is extremely durable due to its use of lightweight “ultrastrong” magnesium alloys. Ttracker is also backed by Cartoni’s 5-year warranty.
