NewFilmmakers Los Angeles InFocus series is spotlighting films from and about the Latino and Hispanic communities on Saturday, September 10th, 2016. Sponsored by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), NFMLA will present a special evening hosted at the Hollywood home of the Academy, The Mary Pickford Center Linwood Dunn Theater. The curated InFocus program will consist of 2 short film programs featuring talent from Spain, Brazil, Mexico and Cuba along with Germany as well as filmmakers representing the local Latino and Hispanic landscape. The night closes with an incredible feature comedy from Peru.
Check in at 4:15pm to meet and mingle with the filmmakers and industry supporters before stepping into the theater to experience the comprehensive collection of international stories.
