Variety 411, in partnership with the Producers Guild of America, AFCI and Entertainment Partners presents the latest edition to the popular production incentive webinar series.  The latest event, titled “Global Financing in the Modern World,” will explore multiple financing options from a global perspective, and will be taking place April 20th 2016 at 11:00 a.m.PST/2:00pm EST.

Taking place at the site of AFCI’s first Global Finance Conference: the Marriott Burbank, this web-only event will be moderated by Dama Claire, the Incentives Special Advisor at Entertainment Partners.  Claire will be leading a panel of international film commissioners and financing experts through a discussion highlighting key global production locations, including the United States, China, Latin America, Canada, Europe and the Pacific Rim.

Panelists who are confirmed to participate on this panel include Dr. Hans Radua, Radua is a partner in Noen’s Corporate and Media Entertainment Department in Berlin.  He’s an expert in the field of financing transactions and venture capital with an industry focus on media, entertainment and e-commerce.  His clients range from major studios such as Sony/Columbia Pictures, Warner Bros, Universal, Disney and Marvel, as well as independent companies including LionsGate and Indian Paintbrush.  Radua will be discussing the European territories.  To highlight options in the United States is Joe Chianese, EVP, EP Financial Solutions. Chianese has almost 30 years of accounting, tax, and production experience, and has held positions at Sony Pictures Entertainment, The Walt Disney Company, The American Broadcasting Company, Paramount Pictures, and Ernst & Young.  Recently announced was the addition of Judy Chen from the Wanda Group who will be highlighting options in China.  Michelle Sandoval, Client Liaison Executive, Australia Film Commission will be speaking about the benefits of shooting in Australia, and  AFCI’s Executive Director Kevin Clark will also be joining the panelist to highlight the importance of the global community to film and television producers.
