411 Publishing with partners the PGA and Entertainment Partners announce November webinar

On November 18th, 411 Publishing in partnership with the Producers Guild of America and Entertainment Partners will present their second installment of the 2010-2011 Production Webinar Series, called Spotlight on New York, North Carolina, Michigan, and Oregon. The event, occurring live on the internet, is free and registration is open to any interested party. The webinar will be conducted at 11:00am PST/2:00pm EST.
The goal of this webinar is to highlight the film commissioners from New York, North Carolina, Michigan, and Oregon, and to highlight the recent changes and developments in their production incentive structure and discuss the infrastructure within the highlighted states that supports film, television and commercial production.
Moderating the event will be Joseph Chianese, Senior Vice President of Taxes, Business Development and Production Planning at Entertainment Partners. Mr. Chianese is a 25 –year veteran of tax accounting, tax and production services. His experience includes positions at Sony Pictures Entertainment, The Walt Disney Company and Ernst and Young.
The panelist that will be joining Mr. Chianese include Pat Kaufman, Executive Director, New York State Governor’s Office for Motion Picture and Television Development, Aaron Syrett, Director, North Carolina Film Office, Carrie Jones, Director, Michigan Film Office, and Vince Porter, Executive Director, Oregon Governor’s Office of Film and Television.
